Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hi! I’m Marloes, a seventeen-year-old from The Netherlands. I’m still in high school, but when I’m graduated, I would like to study journalism or communication. I’m blogging on thestylesandwich.blogspot.com



How did you become interested in fashion?
I became interested in fashion the moment I discovered the huge blogs like Style Scrapbook and The Blonde Salad. Fashion magazines are really inspiring to me as well.



What inspired you to start your own blog?
A Dutch magazine featured some blogs on their website. It looked really cool and it inspired me to start my own blog. At first, I just posted photos of other websites. After six months, I discovered fashion blogs and I changed my entire blog.



What are your dreams and aspirations?
I’m a really ambitious girl. I would love to work for a big fashion magazine or a pr agency, I won’t stop blogging and I want to travel as much as I can.



How would you describe your style? What’s your favorite look at this moment?
I find my style difficult to label, but I mostly wear girly clothes with a lot of color and high heels.



Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
Fellow bloggers, streetstyle, fashion magazines and celebrities inspire me a lot. I also get inspired by little things like a flower or a random color combination.



Where do you shop? What are your favorite brands?
Lately, I’ve become addicted to online shopping. Asos.com is amazing and I love shops like zara and monki. Vintage clothes are awesome as well. I love the fact that the pieces have a history and that the clothes aren’t brand new. I’m still looking for some hidden vintage shops in the neighbourhood.
