Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm from Reno NV, but moved to NYC a few years ago to study fashion at F.I.T. I run online vintage store, Rock Paper Vintage and free lance as a fashion stylist.

How did you become interested in fashion?
I've been interested in clothes and fashion my entire life and started sewing and creating my own clothes at an early age.

What are your dreams and aspirations?
I feel like I'm living some of my dreams right now :) - being in New York City, running my own clothing store, and getting the opportunity to work with talented photographers, models and stylists! It's amazing!



How would you describe your style? What’s your favorite look at this moment?
I have an eclectic style, like most girls. I love vintage pieces with personalities of their own and my looks can range from rock ‘n’ roll to delicate and feminine. I suppose it’s probably a very rock goddess style!



Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
From designer runways, to fashion blogs, to people walking in the street! NYC is full of fashion inspiration everywhere from the sidewalk to the subway.

Where do you shop? What are your favorite brands?
I wear primarily vintage pieces, so I shop mainly at thrift stores, flea markets and vintage stores. There are too many fabulous brands to pick a favorite ;)

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Karin, I am a journalist and ever since I can remember I have been a self-confessed clothes-horse.



I dream of world style domination. My mind seems to be congested with visions and imaginings of exquisite clothing, textures and colors and how these transform every day banality and encourage us to experiment towards discovering our own unique style.



What inspired you to start your own blog?
Stylish and individual people on the street fill me with enthusiasm. Instead of hanging on to all these perplexing thoughts and inspirations bottled up inside my pretty little head, I decided pour them out onto others and start my own style blog called Wunderlust. I have always maintained an obsessive love-love relationship with individual style; vintage clothing and sky high shoes. To me personally fashion is the one element in my life that transforms, educates, inspires and gives purpose to.



How would you describe your style? What’s your favorite look at this moment?
I adore vintage items as each one tells a story and is a piece of history. Back in those days when clothing were not mass manufactured and stood the test of time. What inspires me most is not tomorrows trends or yesterdays fashion shows.



Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
My inspiration is individuality…people who express themselves and dress because clothing allows us to speak louder than words.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hello everyone, my name is Miha, i'm 27 and I live in Timisoara, Romania. I work for a multinational company and I like to think of myself as a corporate bee by day, fashion blogger by night. I studied marketing but always dreamt of a career in fashion.



How did you become interested in fashion?
I guess I've always been interested in fashion ever since I was a little girl. I think this is something I picked up very early from my mom. I have always experimented with quite a lot of styles but it wasn't until I left home for college that I really began to develop my own style and be more creative.



What inspired you to start your own blog?
I started my blog about a year and a half ago and at the time I was very inspired by a lot of amazing bloggers, street style blogs, fashion communities and fashion magazines. I felt it was my chance to contribute to the online repertoire of daily fashion and have a voice in the fashion blogging community.



What are your dreams and aspirations?
In an ideal world I would give up my day job and dedicate all my time to fashion related projects.



How would you describe your style? What’s your favorite look at this moment?
My style is something that is constantly changing and evolving. I would say it is clean and simple with great attention to details. I am currently loving printed tights, textured materials and earthy colors.



Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
I get most of my inspiration online from fashion and street style blogs and fashion magazines, but I am also inspired by music, art, movies and people on the street.



Where do you shop? What are your favorite brands?
I love to go thrifting when I get a chance and do most of my shopping when I travel. I am addicted to H&M.

Twitch Vintage :: Robyn

Robyn is one of our trendsetters of the month! Let’s learn more about Robyn.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Oh, hello there. My name is Robyn, and I live in central Florida. I have a bachelors degree is Statistical Mathematics, but I pay my bills with an eBay vintage shop called Twitch Vintage.



How did you become interested in fashion?
I developed a love for vintage fashion back at university. This lead to an overpacked closet, and an underfilled wallet. No regrets.



What inspired you to start your own blog?
I started a blog a year ago January. It was mostly to promote my online shop, but also to connect with people with similar styles.



What are your dreams and aspirations?
I hope to expand my online shop, and keep blogging for at least a few more years. It's cheesy, but I feel like I am living my dream right now.



How would you describe your style? What’s your favorite look at this moment?
I bounce back and for the between my inner 70s child, and vintage prep. I dig anything with fringe, maxi skirts, belled sleeves, and interesting knits. But I love High waisted shorts, plaid, and V neck sweaters.



Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
Blogs, magazines, girls out in my city.



Where do you shop? What are your favorite brands?
I am a thrift store junky, but I pick up staple pieces as Forever 21 and TJMaxx to mix thrifted pieces with.

February Trendsetter :: Goth Reform School

Goth Reform School is one of our 3 trendsetters in February! Let’s learn more about Goth Reform School.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I've lived in Toronto most of my life but I was born in Shanghai. I did my undergraduate degree in psychology and now I'm studying law.



How did you become interested in fashion?
I think it started with my fascination with street style blogs, especially eccentric ones like Hel Looks.



What inspired you to start your own blog?
I've been posting outfit photos and wishlists on the internet for years so finally, it was like ... well, I'm already creating the content, might as well find a proper outlet.



What are your dreams and aspirations?
My dream is to be a firefighter princess fashion designer. I aspire to be an intellectual property lawyer.



How would you describe your style? What’s your favorite look at this moment?
I would say that my style is tidy and simple but still kind of trendy. I like tucking in my shirts and wearing heels and I tend not to accessorize very much. I'm really enjoying La Garconne's pre-spring lookbook.



Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
Mostly magazines and random images floating around tumblr. I really love Gravure magazine and the Oak blog.



Where do you shop? What are your favorite brands?
I have an embarrassing amount of items from American Apparel because I used to work there. I do enjoy a lot of their pieces. My other favourite is Zara but I've been trying to cut down on disposable fashion and investing in quality instead of quantity. It's difficult though.

My name is Aminta. I am from Guatemala city . I hate school (don’t tell anyone) I’m a self- taught person and multitask. Actually I work as photographer, designer, painter, blogger & have my own vintage & handmade stuff on www.amintapaiz.com



How did you become interested in fashion?
I have always been "the rare" (talking about fashion) liked to wear different from others, try new things, buy second hand clothes and mix styles, I’m not sure if that is fashion but I’m still on that line.



What inspired you to start your own blog?
I used to spent hours in front of my computer looking for different styles to wear things, different ways to see the "real world" I didn’t know that the blogosphere was as big as it is until last year that I started reading many blogs and fell in love with the idea of putting together the things I love in one place.



What are your dreams and aspirations?
Dreams? I have many and tomorrow I will have more for sure, I try to make them true so I can enjoy them. I want to keep doing what I do (I love it) , become better & better everyday in each role I have decided to have.


How would you describe your style? What’s your favorite look at this moment?
My style is eclectic I can’t choose only one way to go, I enjoy trying different things sometimes you succeed and some others you would like to die , the good news is that you have 365 days to try again.

My favorite look is a floral dress, with a vintage shirt, wedges and a big bow.



Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
From people in the street: Grandmas have a lot to give ( I mean it) , magazines and other bloggers. You can get inspirations from everywhere & everyone, its all about observation.



Where do you shop? What are your favorite brands?
I usually wear handmade, second hand clothes or vintage :) , when I go shopping is to low cost shops like BLANCO ( spain) , Zara, Mango, H&M. I dont spend thousands in one piece.

Hi Everyone! I'm Stephanie a 16-year old from Huizen a town in the Netherlands, blogging on fashionfou.blogspot.com

I'm still on school but I'm in my last year. After that I want to study Fashion in Amsterdam.



How did you become interested in fashion?
I always go to the Internet and admired all the looks of lookbook, mode republic, vogue, stockholmstreetstyle and other blogs.

I love to read fashion magazines, style clothes and be busy with fashion. That really inspired me so I decided to make my own blog and I'll hope I can inspire people too. Nowadays I still follow a lot of sites, read magazines and I have sewing lessons which I love!



What inspired you to start your own blog?
OTHER BLOGS which I follow for a very long time, street style, art, photography, campaigns pictures and fashion shows.

That really inspired me so I decided to make my own blog and I'll hope I can inspire people to.



What are your dreams and aspirations?
I hope I will finish my school and get admitted to the study I want. Also I love to be busy with my blog and I'll hope my blog will be a success.



How would you describe your style? What’s your favorite look at this moment?
My style is very varied. Also it's changing all the time.

I don't like to be stuck at one style because I like a lot of styles which I'm trying. But at the moment I really like the 'tough chic' style so it’s feminine but tough at the same time. I really like high wedges, long dresses and skirts, fake fur and vintage eyecatchers.



Where do you get your fashion inspirations?
From everywhere!

Other blogs, art, photography, streetstyle, books, fashion icons, architecture.

Oh and I love the Scandinavian people, they have such a great sense of style!



Where do you shop? What are your favorite brands?
I often shop at the Zara and Monki. But also secondhand shops are my love.

My favorite online shop is definitely Asos!

Brands which I like are Missoni, Acne and Burberry. (but that change)

And my grandma often give me her 'old' designer clothes which she didn't like anymore or fit. So that's really sweet!
